It is not like I saw this coming or anything... Anyone who continually portrays the military as this bastion of decency and heroics has got to have a screw loose. I have had the privilidge of knowing several members of the armed forces, both friends and family, and I can tell you one thing. There are just as human as any of us and deserve no more or less attention than anyone else. Callouse you say? Bollocks I retort. They are soldiers because they like being soldiers. Just like accountants and lawyers are such because they are good at what they do and enjoy it. Or they do it because that is all that they know. Perhaps I should start a magnetic grease stained brown ribbon campaign in support of our hard working fastfood employees to show the banality of this whole charade.
