Bill Maher: Conspiracy Weary
Bill I normally would consider myself a fan, but I lost a little respect for you. It is one thing to discredit, it is another thing dismiss with a horse laugh.
Tell you what. We will stop asking questions when you answer them seriously:
Why did the building fall at near free fall speed?
Why was there molten metal in the basement?
Why did Cheney tell NORAD to stand down repeatedly?
Why were war games being held on the day of 9-11 which conveniently confused fighter pilots to where the actual threat was?
Why did Bush continue into Washington Elementary after the first plane hit the first tower?
Why did he continue his photo-op after the second plane hit and after Andrew Card notified him that "America is under attack?"
Why have they not released the video footage from the Hilton of the plane hitting the pentagon?
Why were there audible blasts prior to the collaspe of the towers?
Why did eye witness after eye witness speak of bomb blasts?
Why does the 9-11 Comission Report completely omit the collapse of WTC #7
Why did WTC #7 fall in the first place?
Why did someone on September 6th and 7th purchase 4,744 put options on United Airlines on the Chicago Board Options Exchange?
Why did someone on September 10 purchase 4,516 put options on American Airlines on the Chicago exchange?
Why was nobody held responsible for such a failure of government?
As you can see, these are not questions from a crazy perspective, they are legitimate questions. And if the answer is incompetence, then why are these people still in power, and why do they continually claim they a strong on national defense and not get laughed out of the room?
Why Bill? Why?
So since you so easily dismiss these questions as the musings of an individual who should be on Paxil, allow me to dismiss you as being an establishment ass clown.

Something catastrophic is coming...
Excerpted from Financial News Online.

Why would you bet that much money against the market? The only reason you would is if you had fore-knowledge of a catastrophic event. Something like...

I know they have been saying this since 9-11 but there has been a renewed drum beat to war with Iran on the 24 hour cable news networks and it appears I am not the only one who has noticed it.

Not to mention the heightened security in the nation's capital...

And let us not forget what Bush said earlier this week at the VFW...
So let's get this straight: the media is trumpeting what a threat to US Iran is, administration officials are repeatedly saying something is coming, someone stands to make two billion dollars if the stock market takes a dive like on 9-11, and now we have Bush bringing up the spectre of a "nuclear holocaust." There is a term for this in boxing... it's called telegraphing.
An anonymous investor has placed a bet on an index of Europe's top 50 stocks falling by a third by the end of September, as world equity markets plunged for a third day and volatility hit a three-year high.
The mystery investor has bought put option contracts on the DJ Eurostoxx 50 index that will result in a profit if it plunges to 2,800 or below by the end of September. Based on the 2,800 strike price, the position covers a notional €6.9bn, and potentially even more using a market price of about 4,100 when the trades were done on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The identity of the investor is unknown but market sources speculated it was either a large hedge fund hedging itself against deepening losses, or a long-only fund manager pressing the panic button to protect its gains.
The investor has bought a total of 245,000 put options on the index. The September put option with a 2,800 strike was the most popular DJ Eurostoxx 50 contract yesterday, according to data from Bloomberg. Continue article...

The two sales are being referred to by market traders as "bin Laden trades" because only an event on the scale of 9-11 could make these short-sell options valuable.
There are 65,000 contracts @ $750.00 for the SPX 700 calls for open interest. That controls 6.5 million shares at $750 = $4.5 Billion. Not a single trade. But quite a bit of $$ on a contract that is 700 points away from current value. No one would buy that deep "in the money" calls. No reason to. So if they were sold looks like someone betting on massive dislocation. Lots of very strange option activity that I haven't seen before.
The entity or individual offering these sales can only make money if the market drops 30%-50% within the next four weeks. If the market does not drop, the entity or individual involved stands to lose over $1 billion just for engaging in these contracts!
Clearly, someone knows something big is going to happen BEFORE the options expire on Sept. 21.

Al Qaeda has an active plot to hit the West. The United States knows about it but doesn’t have enough tactical detail to issue a precise warning or raise the threat level, says Vice Admiral (ret.) John Scott Redd, who heads the government’s National Counterterrorism Center. In an interview at his headquarters near Washington, D.C., Redd told Newsweek’s Mark Hosenball and Jeffrey Bartholet that the country is better prepared than ever to counter such threats. But he also believes another successful terror attack on the U.S. homeland is inevitable. Continue article...

Excerpted from Infowars.
Massive evidence has come to our attention which shows that the backers, controllers, and allies of Vice President Dick Cheney are determined to orchestrate and manufacture a new 9/11 terror incident, and/or a new Gulf of Tonkin war provocation over the coming weeks and months. Such events would be used by the Bush administration as a pretext for launching an aggressive war against Iran, quite possibly with nuclear weapons, and for imposing a regime of martial law here in the United States. Not to mention the heightened security in the nation's capital...
Excerpted from NBC's Wesh.com.
Members of the 1st Battalion 265 Air Defense Artillery have mobilized and are on a plane headed first to Ft. Bliss, then for federal active duty in the capital region.
The troops will be deployed for a year. Continue article...

WTC #7: Why did it fall?
I know I have brought this up before, and I also know that most people are sick of hearing about 9-11 especially since the media orgy of the five year anniversary, but I was farting around on YouTube.com and came across this video which hammers home some really good points. One of the reasons I posted this is because this video gives evidence that the official story apologists claim that Larry Silverstein's "pull it" comment was referring to a contingency of fire fighters is complete bullshit, considering that there were no fire fighters in it at the time.

JFK on the evils of secrecy and secret societies.
It makes me want to cry that we once had leaders like this, and the American public stood by as the were murdered. Very few questioned and no one was held accountable. So just who are the bad guys? Give you a hint, they are not the ones who get assasinated. They die of natural causes on vacation.

SNL TV Funhouse: Conspiracy Theory Rock
The Saturday Night Live parody of School House Rock was so on spot that NBC never aired it again.
I uploaded this to YouTube and they rejected it because they are punkbitches, so I went around them. We will see how long Google will host this.

Mummia's History Lesson
I once met a pro-Bush conservative who was a supporter of Mummia, he was really, really confused.

"Lay down G.I.!!!": Alex Jones' cameo in Waking Life.
Those of you who know me personally know I have mixed feelings about Alex Jones due to his anti-environmentalist positions, but I can't help admire the balls he has to confront politicians about things like Bohemian Groove. Here is a clip my friend Angel showed me from Waking Life.

The Big Guns...
As many of you are aware, this blog is not intended to reach as many readers of the last nor is it as versatile. Instead this is a more personal one. I will from time to time use said blog as a journal for mundane bullshit and petty bitching, but I will also use it to bring out the big guns.
What do I mean by this? Well, quite simply put: the subject matter that isn't meant for mass consumption due to its inherent controversy; more so than the last blog where our opinions were just injected into news paper excerpts. I am talking about talking about subjects that have been condemned by those who fear to question official party lines: the dreaded conspiracy theories.
Now I am not talking about just any stupid theory like "we really didn't land on the moon" or the "The Doors was a CIA mind control project" theory. Those are just lame and unimportant. In fact, I am not really talking about theories at all, rather asking the questions that need to be asked and have not been answered. For example it is no secret that nearly 50% of New Yorkers believe that Bush was complicit in the 9-11 attacks or at the very least allowed it to happen. Some would call this conspiracy theory bullshit just as they would dismiss my observation that provisions for a standing army are not in the U.S. Constitution under the same umbrella.
What I want to avoid are the harebrained speculations like: The planes that crashed into the WTC towers were radio controlled, or the pentagon was hit by a missile. I don't care about speculation, what I do care about are reputable quotes, video evidence, financial ties, and above all: asking the right questions. That is how a debate is framed, and as those challenging the establishment's story, we must operate in this fashion. An example of a legitimate question:
These are pertinent questions that naturally lead to other questions and best of all, you don't come off as a nut for asking these questions. Now the implied answer to this question is that building 7 was brought down via controlled demolition. Now can I back that "speculation" up? I don't have to, I let the owner of the WTC do that for me:
When you "pull" a building, that is the industry term for a controlled demolition. Question: How long does it take to set up a controlled demolition?
Answer: Anywhere from a few weeks to months depending on the size and shape of the structure to be pulled.
This of course begs the ultimate question: If it takes weeks and sometimes months to set up charges for a controlled demolition, then how could the building be pulled without fore-knowledge of the 9-11 attacks?
Of course, you don't have to ask your opponent that. Let them ask themselves that, and see if they have an answer that isn't some crazy conspiracy theory.

We all have seen and believe the reason the North & South WTC towers fell due to jet liners being slammed into them, but why did WTC Building 7 collapse when it had not been hit by planes nor had burning jet fuel injected into it? Furthermore, why isn't building 7 even mentioned in the 9-11 Commission Report?

"I remember getting a call from the, uh, fire department commander, telling me that they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire, and I said, 'You know we've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is, is pull it.' Uh, and they made that decision to pull and then we watched the building collapse."
--Larry Silverstein, owner of the World Trade Center
