On did what we should all do when confronted by these spinmeisters: call out their lies, point out their tactics, and marginalize them. Then wonderful things like this happen...
Betsy McCaughey — an outspoken proponent of the myth that Democrats’ health care reform proposals will lead to the creation of “death panels,” as well as a former lieutenant governor of New York and adjunct fellow at the Hudson Institute — has stepped down from her position as a director of Cantel Medical Corp., which bills itself as a “leading provider of infection prevention and control products in the healthcare market.”

Michael Moore on Oprah
Say what you will about Michael Moore but I think he is a great American. He asks the questions no one has the balls to and for this he is scorned. I really believe his documentary Sicko will help bring about universal health care in this country. How much the insurance companies stick their greedy mitts into this will depend on who is elected into office... (ie: Dennis Kucinich will never win because his plan completely omits them, but one can dream.)
