Troll Talk: Jason's Joke

In response to me calling out his partisan dig at me, Jason stated:
It's called a joke, and it was made to illustrate a point. "Social libertarians" like yourself invariably support euthanasia to end suffering.
Jokes are intended to make people laugh, how is what you said in anyway humorous? You are right though, I do support a persons right to euthanasia to end suffering.
Yet here you are defending the continuing suffering of a person you were sure had no chance of survival.
No, I knew Mr. Boatman was already dead as I stated. Some people wanted to pull him out and I just stated that if he had a chance at survival that pulling him from the wreckage would decrease said chances. They couldn't have pulled him out anyway, the EMT's had to deflate the tire just get his head out.
On the other hand, perhaps CPR could've helped the guy and you prevented that with your faux concern for the last moments of his life.
The weak erratic pulse that Charlie felt was the result of a misfiring brain, something that happens at death. My "faux concern?" Consider this:
"It is not what enters into the mouth that defiles the man, but what proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man."--Matthew 15:11

Oh, well, since YOU didn't laugh, I guess that means it wasn't humorous. So does me not laughing at the Daily Show, the Colbert Report and Conan O'Brien make them not humorous?

No, I knew Mr. Boatman was already dead as I stated.

And you're a trained professional who can tell these things?

Some people wanted to pull him out and I just stated that if he had a chance at survival that pulling him from the wreckage would decrease said chances.

How do you know? How do you know that CPR would not have saved him? Are you a doctor?

They couldn't have pulled him out anyway, the EMT's had to deflate the tire just get his head out.

But you didn't know that before the EMTs did it. You pooh-poohed these people wanting to attend to the man before they could even attempt to extract him.

The weak erratic pulse that Charlie felt was the result of a misfiring brain, something that happens at death.

Again, I have to ask how you know this. Are you a doctor? Or is it something you "just heard somewhere?" Citing what the EMTs or anyone else said after the fact doesn't justify your statement, either.

Ah, yes. What has proceeded out of my "mouth" on you blog has made me "unclean" in God's eyes, right? Maybe you should read that chapter a little further:

"For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander."

Care to explain how any of my words fit those?

No it just means you have a sick sense of humor because you can't laugh at something clever, but get pleasure from name calling, gross generalizations, sexist remarks, and making light of someone dying.

And you're a trained professional who can tell these things?

When someone's brains are on the ground and their head is turned almost completely around, I don't think you have to be a trained professional to tell.

How do you know? How do you know that CPR would not have saved him? Are you a doctor?

Go do CPR on a corpse with his brain falling out of his head, go see how far you get.

But you didn't know that before the EMTs did it. You pooh-poohed these people wanting to attend to the man before they could even attempt to extract him.

Did you see his face wedged in their? I did, so why are you questioning somethin you know absolutely nothing about? Get a life. And "pooh-poohed?" What are you five?

Again, I have to ask how you know this. Are you a doctor? Or is it something you "just heard somewhere?" Citing what the EMTs or anyone else said after the fact doesn't justify your statement, either.

My father is a LVN, my cousin is an EMT. Two of my friends are EMT's. When my grandmother died earlier this year the same thing happened to her. Her heart beat stopped, then it came back faintly and erratically, she even gurgled and spit up like she was choking, but it was just the nerves.

You called my concern for the victem "faux concern." That is false witness, and character assassination. Not to mention your "joke" was mean spirited: I wrote that post to get it off my chest because what I saw tramatized me as well as my friends and the only thing you could do was to make a sick joke and turn my personal account into political dig. That is what makes you unclean "For out of the heart come evil thoughts" and there was nothing of good nature in your comments.
