Troll Talk: Conservative X-tians that prove themselves to be "wackos."

This conversation is regarding a memo Michael Scanlon wrote calling the Christian Right "wackos" that I posted in a Christian forum. See the post below this one, or if this article is seperate from the rest of the page, reference it here.

The subject in question:
"The wackos get their information through the Christian right, Christian radio, mail, the internet and telephone trees ... Simply put, we want to bring out the wackos to vote against something and make sure the rest of the public lets the whole thing slip past them."

--Michael Scanlon

And their response?
Christian Fundamentalist #1: Wacko? They must of pulled my file. They nailed it!

I'm not worried about em, God gave them their authority, and last time I checked, God is still in control. It takes a lot more than that to get me riled.

Do you know Jesus BTW?

Buck: God gave them control? Need an Atheist remind you who is lord of this world according to your sacred texts? I'll give you a hint, it isn't God.
Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said to Him, "All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish."

--Luke 4:5

But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

--II Corinthians 4:3-4

"Now is the judgment of this world, now shall the ruler of this world be cast out; and I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself."

--John 12:31-32

So God gave the Republicans their authority, are you sure about that?

Christian Fundamentalist #2: It's not like we dont have names we call officials we voted for when they irritate us.

Buck: It's not like this is a letter discussing their irritation with Christians. This is a memo discussing political strategy and it would behoove you to take it a little more seriously than they take you.

Christian Fundamentalist #3: Why should we get all worked up?

Buck: Why should you care that you are being exploited? Think for a second, if it weren't for the wedge issues that they drag out every election season yet do absolutely nothing about, would you honestly vote for them? Do you even understand who their platform benefits and what their platform is really about?

Of course, after addressing all these insane dismissals I was thanked for looking out for them, right? No, I was completely ignored and even called names. This country is so fucked.
