All the Way to Skagway

Tired of their mundane lives in a 55 plus living community, Garrit (Jordan Swerdloff) and his imaginary alcoholic friend "the Rat" (Jeremy Osgood) embark upon a mission to come up with four hundred and seventy-eight dollars and twenty-three cents for a trip to Skagway Alaska. Scrounging for money proves more difficult than imagined as Garrit fails one entrepreneurial venture after another whether it's selling miscellaneous household junk door-to-door, challenging a local gang member to foosball, or impromptu musical sessons at his pink lemonade stand. Successive failures lead to increased tensions which fuel a falling out between the two. Will Garrit and the Rat remain life long friends? And more importantly, will they make it to Skagway?

Editor's note: My grandmother makes a cameo appearance in this film.
