The Patella is slightly out of place but that is because I was holding the Tibia and Fibula together with one hand and taking a picture with the other.

I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts....

...Look at them all standing in a row... Big ones, small ones, some as big as your head...

Check out the grill on this mug.... a face only a mother could love.

This poor lad is the unfortunate result of Pop Rocks mixed with soda... Kids don't try this at home.

My Grandmother's broken hand...

Those who were talking to me online yesterday know that my grandmother fell early yesterday at church. While we had speculated that she may have broken her arm or wrist, but in reality it turned out to be her hand. Early this morning we went to Redlands Community Hospital and had her hand X-rayed. While awaiting the results I got a good look at her hand. Her hand was swollen and bruised the most on her hand both front and back.

I took a stab in the dark and guessed that she had fractured her metacarpals and what do you know, I was correct for once in my life. What I didn't anticipate was the severity. It turns out my grandmother fractured four of her five metacarpals in her Sunday accident. If you take a look at the X-ray, I have circled the fractures in light blue. It is faint, but you can see the bones splinter around the outsides of the bones near the bases. After five hours plus of waiting, my grandmother left with a simple wrap of a splint, and we took the scenic route to Denny's. It was then my grandmother suggested taking her home first before my grandfather and I ate. "I have plenty of food that I could heat up," she said. To which I casually replied, "Calm down lefty, you aren't cooking anything..."

Grandparents, why do they have to be so difficult?
